The Garrett GTX2867R Gen II supercore is a complete ball-bearing turbocharger supplied without a turbine housing, so you can pair it with the GT28R / GTX28R housing that suits your setup, or reuse the one you already have. The 50mm compressor wheel steps up from the GTX2860R for more top-end airflow, and Garrett rates it at 275–550 hp for engines from 1.4 to 2.5 litres.
Gen II compressor wheel aerodynamics deliver up to 20% more power than the original GTX2867R, while a fully machined ported shroud improves surge resistance for crisp, responsive boost.
Key features
- Gen II forged, fully machined compressor wheel aerodynamics
- 8 mm dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge, oil and water cooled
- Fully machined compressor inlet, outlet and ported shroud
- High-flow Gen II compressor housing
- Fully machined speed sensor port (plugged from factory), accepts the Garrett speed sensor kit, sold separately
- Outline-interchangeable with GT and GTX Gen I turbos, so it suits existing piping
- Compatible with all existing GT and GTX (GT28R / GTX28R) turbine housing kits
Please note: turbine housing is not included. Product photos show the turbo with a housing fitted. Standard rotation. Maximum allowable shaft speed is 165,000 rpm.
